How to Improve Your Basic Art Skills: The Colour Wheel

Need a teaching resource to help teach your students colour theory? Well below is a helpful demo video of how to paint the colour wheel created for Year 7 and 8 students (11-13 Year-olds). Here I use acrylic paints and a flat brush to demonstrate how to mix both secondary and tertiary colours (skills which come in really useful when creating art!). The finished colour wheel looks great and can be glued in your students’ sketchbook as a future resource to work out colour matches and other colour theory!
